Terms and Conditions

Welcome to S.E.A. Swim Education Academy (“S.E.A.”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our services, website, or purchasing classes, courses, or merchandise, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Offered

S.E.A. provides:

  • Classes: Swimming, Mermaid, Freediving

  • Courses: Swimming Teacher, Mermaid Teacher, Freediving Teacher

  • Merchandise: Swim-related products available for purchase on our website or on-site

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made online or in person.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking; partial payments or deposits are not accepted.

  • Payments can be made via approved methods on our website or in-person at our academy.

3. Class Attendance and Cancellations

  • Students may reschedule or make up a class if cancellation is done at least 1 hour before the scheduled class.

  • Classes falling on public holidays or official closure days cannot be made up.

  • Packages (e.g., 4-class packs) must be completed within 6 weeks of purchase.

4. Refunds

  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, fully incorporated herein.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via [email address].

  • Refunds are issued only under exceptional circumstances such as class cancellations by S.E.A. or medical emergencies, in line with our Refund Policy.

5. Liability and Safety

  • All participants (or parents/guardians for minors) assume responsibility for their safety during classes.

  • S.E.A., its instructors, and staff are not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses except where required by law.

  • All classes are conducted with trained instructors and safety measures, but participants must follow instructor guidance.

6. Age and Consent

  • Classes are available for both children and adults.

  • For minors, parent/guardian consent is required for enrollment, participation, and media usage.

  • By participating, parents/guardians agree to allow photos/videos of students to be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All website content, materials, photos, videos, and teaching resources are property of S.E.A. and protected by copyright.

  • Students, participants, and website users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content without explicit written permission.

8. Merchandise

  • Purchased merchandise is non-refundable unless defective.

  • Exchanges for defective items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Singapore law.

  • Any disputes arising from use of S.E.A.’s services, website, or products will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

10. Amendments

  • S.E.A. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • Updates will be posted on our website with the effective date clearly stated.

  • Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
